Established in 1998 during the Asian Financial Crisis, ADM Capital has been a flexible, trusted provider of credit in Asia Pacific for more than 25 years. Initially focused on distressed debt and restructuring opportunities, the business has grown to be a leading private credit manager focused on financing the region's underbanked mid-market corporates in their pursuit of growth. ADM Capital is a private credit specialist, with a 25-year track record across developed and emerging Asia Pacific markets. The firm focuses on downside protection, the preservation of capital and risk-adjusted performance.

A 'financing gap' exists in Asia Pacific where traditional forms of credit or equity are unavailable for small and medium enterprises. The firm aims to limit downside risk. Christopher Botsford

Founding Partner

Christopher Botsford is a Founding Partner of ADM Capital and a member of the Executive Committee and Investment Advisory Committee. Prior to establishing ADM Capital in 1998, he ran the Asia-Pacific regional debt and derivatives operation for Republic National Bank of New York and was a founding board member of the Asian arm of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association.

Alexander Shaik

Partner, General Counsel

Alexander Shaik joined ADM Capital in 2005 and serves as Partner, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. He has over 20 years of experience in legal and commercial aspects of corporate and structured finance transactions across Asia and Europe.

Sabita Prakash

Managing Director

Sabita Prakash is Managing Director at ADM Capital and a member of the Asia-Pacific direct lending team, responsible for sourcing and executing investments in India and South Asia. She previously led the Asian Fixed Income team at Fidelity Worldwide Investment and has held roles at CRISIL, Standard & Poor’s, JP Morgan and HSBC.

David Whyte

CEO

David Whyte is Chief Executive Officer of ADM Capital and a member of the Executive Committee and Investment Advisory Committee. Prior to becoming CEO, he focused on sourcing and structuring investments in Australia and New Zealand and previously worked with KPMG in capital markets and audit roles.
