Aroa Venture Partners was founded in 2020 by Gaurav Gulati with a simple ambition: to become India's foremost venture capital firm by being the most useful partner a founder can have. Over 40+ investments, from seed to growth, the firm learned what it takes to build long-lasting companies in India. Today the firm focuses that experience on deep tech: research-led, engineering-intensive founders working on semiconductors, space, AI and compute, energy and climate, advanced materials and life sciences. With the University of Chicago Polsky Center the firm built the India Deep Tech Accelerator, its flagship program for deep-tech founders taking Indian research to global markets.
