About Asteya Investment Managers

Asteya Investment Managers LLP was set up to provide advisory services to clients in the areas of Treasury and Investment. The firm believes advisory services go beyond mere consulting; they are akin to hand-holding clients, while helping them to achieve their objectives. The firm looks at Treasury or Investment management not just from the long-term perspective, but also makes the dynamic adjustments needed for its clients to benefit from tactical opportunities, and/or to manage impending risks. The team comprises experienced corporate treasury and banking professionals, who combine sound technical skills with an in-depth understanding of corporate value drivers, and treasury success factors.

Investment philosophy

Asteya was formed with the single-minded objective of building a world-class organisation that lives up to its name. The name has Sanskrit origins and it has got several layers of meaning and depth. It refers to a person who is trustworthy, not coveting, or not taking things he is not entitled to, as well as not obstructing other people's desires in life. Asteya is not about assets, earnings or inheritance. It is about how to make decisions, especially about money. The idea is contentment with things that come to a person by honest means. In that sense, both possessions and merit come to us rightfully; they should be earned and handled with respect. The thread that runs through all these values and practices, can be summed up in one word: integrity. This is the literal embodiment of Asteya.

Arun Bahl brings nearly 32 years of extensive banking experience, including 12 years at Asteya and over 20 years with global financial institutions such as ABN Amro, RBS, Deutsche Bank, and Daiwa Capital Markets. His deep expertise spans various functions within banking, including corporate finance, risk management, and capital markets. Arun's global perspective and strategic acumen enable him to deliver insightful financial solutions and drive growth in dynamic markets.
