At Astute Investment Management, we believe in long term value investing with an investment horizon of at least 2–3 years. We follow a bottom-up stock picking approach using fundamental research and evaluate investments based on three core pillars: Business, Management, and Valuation.

Business: Strong long-term prospects, economic moat, scalable opportunity, strong cash generation, leadership positioning, and improving financial ratios.

Management: Capability to scale profitably, disciplined capital allocation, strong governance, shareholder accountability, and financial discipline.

Valuation: Investing at reasonable or attractive valuations with a margin of safety, avoiding excessive optimism priced into stocks.

We prefer mid to small sized companies, maintain concentrated portfolios (8–12 stocks), avoid unnecessary churn, and allow long-term compounding to drive wealth creation.
