The firm was founded by CA Rajeev Ranjan, who has over 25 years of experience in equity markets and began his career as a practicing Chartered Accountant before pivoting full-time to investment management. Brighter Mind started as a SEBI-registered Investment Advisor (INA100016363) in 2021 under Brighter Mind Equity Advisor Pvt. Ltd. and evolved into a full AIF manager. He graduated in commerce from Delhi University.
