About CDM Capital

CDM is an early-stage fund based in Mumbai. CDM Partners Advisors LLP is the investment manager of CDM Capital Trust (CDM Capital Fund I), a Category I AIF (Reg. IN/AIF1/22-23/1165). The firm was established in 2022 and backs Indian founders from seed to Series A, with a focus on fintech, AI-native enterprise, and the real economy.

Investment philosophy

CDM invests with conviction, stays involved for the full journey, and tries to be useful rather than just another name on the cap table. The team has been operators. When it looks at a deal, it asks what it actually takes to build this, how the business grows, and whether the team has what it takes. CDM leads, co-leads or co-invests at Seed and Pre-Series A, and what matters is conviction: if it believes in the founder and the market, it wants to be meaningfully involved. CDM stays involved through the difficult stretches. Its network of operators, public-company directors and exited founders is available to portfolio companies for hiring, fundraising strategy, and the decisions that don't have obvious answers. The advisory network brings together operators, founders, investors and sector specialists who support the portfolio with customer introductions, hiring, fundraising, strategic decisions and the harder questions of company-building.
