Creaegis Investment Fund III (CIF-III, IN/AIF3/18-19/0625) is a SEBI-registered Category III Alternative Investment Fund managed by Creaegis Advisors LLP — Creaegis's earlier-registered Cat III vehicle, registered December 2018, six months before the flagship Cat II growth equity fund CIF-II. As a Cat III AIF, CIF-III employs more complex trading strategies including long-short equity, derivatives, and listed securities — distinct from the unlisted growth equity focus of CIF-II. Both funds share the same manager (Creaegis Advisors LLP), the same contact person (Prakash Parthasarathy), the same Bangalore address (776, 100 Feet Road, HAL II Stage), and the same SEBI contact email. Prakash Parthasarathy is the Founder, Managing Partner, and CIO of Creaegis, and the designated SEBI contact person for CIF-II and CIF-III. Prior to founding Creaegis in 2018, he was the Founding Managing Partner & CIO of PremjiInvest (2006–2018), the investment office for Azim Premji (Chairman, Wipro) and his Foundations, where he built and led the investment strategy across all asset classes in India, China, and the US. During his tenure at PremjiInvest he backed Lenskart, Myntra, and Amagi among others. Earlier, he was EVP at iGATE Global Solutions (and predecessor Quintant, acquired by iGATE), and a Principal & Senior Research Analyst at Montgomery Securities and Robertson Stephens (both acquired by Bank of America) in San Francisco, covering technology. He started his career at Peregrine Capital as Senior Research Analyst (India and Asia tech). He holds a PGDM from IIM Bangalore and a B.Tech in Computer Science from BITS Pilani. He currently serves on the boards of FabIndia and Manipal Global Education Ltd.
