DMI Alternative Investment Fund is a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund (reg. IN/AIF2/16-17/0306), managed by DMI Alternatives Private Limited — an associate company of DMI Finance Private Limited, the Delhi-based digital finance group co-founded by Shivashish Chatterjee and Yuvraja C. Singh. DMI Alternatives manages multiple schemes under the DMI AIF umbrella, the most prominent of which is the Sparkle Fund (Scheme III), a fintech-focused venture strategy. Sparkle Fund was launched in 2019 and achieved a $40 million close in September 2021, investing in early-stage fintech and digital finance companies including M2P, Credgenics, Servify, Uni, MobiKwik, and EazyDiner. A second scheme focused on real estate structured debt closed at $250 million (₹16 billion) in June 2018, with a nine-year life targeting 15–20 investments in Indian real estate companies across the capital structure. A third (real estate) fund close was announced in March 2023 targeting double the corpus of the first. Shivashish Chatterjee

Shivashish Chatterjee is a co-founder of the DMI Group and a driving force behind the Group's vision and strategy. A 25-year veteran of international financial markets, he spent most of his career at Salomon Brothers (later acquired by Citigroup) in global fixed-income trading and analytics. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University (BA, Applied Mathematics, 1995).
Yuvraja C. Singh

Yuvraja C. Singh is co-founder of the DMI Group, jointly responsible for all aspects of the firm's activities. He began his career in risk management at Commodities Corporation (acquired by Goldman Sachs). He holds a BA in Economics from Princeton University (Class of 1994).
