Sandeep Kothari, Founder CEO, has 25 years of experience in the Indian equity markets. He started his career on the sell side in 1993, working as a pharmaceutical and consumer analyst. He joined Fidelity Investments in 2002 as a regional analyst covering steel, metals, mining and health care for Asia (including Australia). Sandeep became portfolio manager in 2005, managing its Indian domestic mutual funds, which included the flagship Fidelity Equity Fund and the Fidelity Tax Advantage Fund. He became portfolio advisor to the US$2bn Fidelity India Fund in 2012, continuing until February 2020. Sandeep is a Chartered Accountant and a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from Mumbai University.
