Chidambaram Palaniappan is the Founder, Managing Director and CEO of Florintree Advisors Private Limited, and the SEBI-registered contact person for Florintree India Flexi Advantage Trust. Before founding Florintree in 2014, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager and Director on the Board at Martin Currie Investment Management (Edinburgh), responsible for European equities with peak AUM of USD 1.1 billion, focusing on mid and small-cap companies across Europe. Prior to Martin Currie, he was Head of Telecommunications Banking for UK and Scandinavia at Rabobank London (USD 1.6 billion credit assets). He began his career in telecoms, media and technology financing at Peregrine Capital in Mumbai in 1994. B.Tech from IIT Kanpur; PGDM from IIM Bangalore (Director's Merit List).
Mathew Cyriac

Mathew Cyriac is the Executive Chairman at Private Equity firm Florintree Advisors and Co-Founder at deep-tech fund Yali Capital, has been recognised for many firsts in his 30-year career spanning investing roles in India and the US. Mathew's journey from IIMB gold medallist to global investment professional epitomizes excellence, innovation, and purpose-driven inclusive leadership. A mechanical engineering graduate from College of Engineering Guindy, Mathew worked at Tata Motors before joining the world of finance with Bank of America and then moving to Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette. He held key roles at Credit Suisse in Los Angeles, California, and Quintant/iGATE in Fremont, California before returning to India to join Blackstone. As a founding member and PE co-head of Blackstone India PE (2006 to 2017), he pioneered control-oriented investing by acquiring majority stakes in portfolio companies to drive operational turnarounds. This approach is now a key strategy in the Indian PE industry. His leadership has transformed companies like Gokaldas Exports, MTAR Technologies, CMS Infosystems, and Data Patterns, creating new benchmarks for value creation. At Florintree Advisors, a homegrown PE firm, Mathew has built a reputation for actively investing time and capital at growth-stage companies. This has resulted in stellar IPOs for companies like Data Patterns, IdeaForge, and MTAR. At Yali Capital, Mathew has partnered with seasoned tech investors and operators to fund startups such as C2i Semiconductors and 4baseCare, powering India's deep-tech innovation in semiconductors, AI, and genomics. Mathew has also driven operating excellence by serving as a board member for Data Patterns, MTAR, IdeaForge, and CMS IT, independent board member for Tata Capital and Tata Play, and Chairman at Gokaldas Exports. Beyond finance, Mathew's focus lies in his commitment to inclusive growth. Under his stewardship, companies like Gokaldas Exports employ over 45,000 women, providing sustainable livelihoods that uplift communities. Jayanta Banerjee

Jayanta Banerjee brings three decades of corporate and entrepreneurial experience spanning full-cycle investment management, fund raising, corporate governance, and managing stakeholder relationships. He has experienced the transformation of India across multiple economic cycles – post-liberalization era of the 1990s, dotcom tech boom of 2000, India growth story of early 21st century, GFC of 2008, and post-GFC phase till the Covid-19 pandemic. Previously, Jayanta was President – Private Equity at ICICI Venture, and prior to that, he was the India head of private equity at Lehman Brothers. He has also held roles at ASK Pravi Capital Advisors. Jayanta holds a Post Graduate Diploma from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University. He has served on multiple Boards of Directors and worked closely with founders in growing businesses. He is also an Advisor to Cygnus Centre of Excellence, a social venture focused on life skills and career advice to young adults from vernacular backgrounds.

He brings extensive experience from previous roles at Cotton Tree Management Limited and AEA Investors LP. Naveen Jain has over 17 years of experience in equity research and private equity investments. He has been a part of Florintree Advisors since 2017, where he oversees the firm's investments in private as well as public markets. Prior to joining Florintree, Naveen spent over 10 years as a lead research analyst for various institutional equities platforms. His last role was at the leading investment bank JM Financial, where he led research for Cement and Infrastructure sectors for its institutional broking business. Naveen is a Chartered Accountant as well as an MBA in Finance by qualification.

He is the co-founder of CL Educate Ltd. (NSE: CLEDUCATE), best known through its flagship brand Career Launcher. Sujit's 25-year journey with CL spanned from inception to a successful IPO in 2017, during which he played a pivotal role in building a nationwide education services organization with presence across 100+ cities. As Chief Innovation Officer, he led Technology and AI, building multiple production-grade AI systems, and also headed the HR function for over two decades, shaping a strong organizational culture. Sujit holds an MBA from IIM Bangalore and a B.Tech in Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He is the author of a book on Machine Learning published on Amazon, and has conducted several CXO and Board-level workshops on the strategic application of AI for leading banks, enterprises, and fintech firms in India.
