About Fortitude Fund Management

Fortitude Fund Management LLP is a SEBI-registered firm that aims to build long-term partnerships grounded in transparency and trust. The firm invests in good businesses during difficult times. When market pessimism creates irrational discounts, the firm capitalises on the disconnect between price and value.

Investment philosophy

Fortitude practices deep value investing. The firm looks for fundamentally strong companies experiencing temporary setbacks and invests when the gap between price and intrinsic value is wide enough to provide a meaningful margin of safety, often buying businesses at 50 cents on the dollar. The firm believes capital preservation begins with the purchase price, and it is the one variable on which the firm never compromises. Time is the firm's primary arbitrage. Contrarian investment theses require time to play out, cyclical businesses need time to recover, and intrinsic value may take time to be recognised by the market. The firm partners with investors who have a minimum investment horizon of five years and understand that exceptional long-term compounding requires patience.
