The fund's scheme is HDFC AMC Structured Credit Fund–I, an INR 1,500 crore secured private credit fund (with INR 1,000 crore green shoe) targeting mid-teen risk-adjusted returns over a 4–6 year horizon. The fund is sector-agnostic (excluding real estate) and invests in secured credit instruments including senior secured debt, structured credit, and promoter-level financing. First close raised INR 1,290 crore from institutional investors, family offices, and UHNIs. Anchor investor: IFC (International Finance Corporation, World Bank Group), which committed up to INR 220 crore. Sponsor commitment from HDFC AMC: up to 14% of the fund corpus (~INR 210 crore).
