Alex K Babu is a seasoned investment professional with over 17 years of experience in building and managing research-driven portfolios. With Hedge's Portfolio Management Services, Alex aims to bring the same depth of research, allocation discipline and active oversight that have guided Hedge's investment strategies for over a decade. His vision is clear: to create PMS schemes that provide investors with the benefits of professional fund management without the noise and guesswork of daily market tracking. Alex completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 2002 and started his entrepreneurial career joining his family business of seafood exports (Baby Marine Ventures) with a special focus on International Finance & Marketing. His keen business sense and a strong belief in India's long term growth prospects led him to set up Hedge Equities in June 2008.
