Investment philosophy

The firm invests before a company's success looks inevitable to other investors. It is comfortable with the risk of building from the ground up, so pre-revenue companies are fair game. The firm builds its own investment thesis and does not piggy-back on other investors, so founders are advised to reach out early. Beyond capital, the firm helps founders reach decision-makers through an extended network, so founders can spend their energy building rather than knocking on doors. It also prepares companies for growth capital by setting target metrics, helping build the operating model and deck, and introducing growth-stage investors. Sanil Sachar is co-founder and Managing Partner of Huddle Ventures. He graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2014 and began his startup journey in 2018 through Huddle. He is a national best-selling author, entrepreneur, angel investor (portfolio includes Shiprocket, Coutloot), and columnist (Entrepreneur Magazine, Huffington Post). Previously worked as a product and revenue strategist with Star Sports on the Cricket World Cup, Indian Super League, and Pro Kabaddi League.
