SEBI-encouraged funds — venture capital, SME, social-impact and infrastructure. Close-ended, generally unleveraged.
IQ Startup Fund (IN/AIF1/17-18/0347) is a SEBI-registered Category I AIF — one of IndiaQuotient's fund series, managed by India Quotient Advisers LLP. The SEBI registration address (202, Delta Building, Chemtex Lane, Hiranandani, Powai, Mumbai – 400076) was an earlier IndiaQuotient office before the firm relocated its base to Indiranagar, Bengaluru. The fund is part of the IndiaQuotient IQ Alpha series, all managed by the same LLP. The absence of contact person and email in SEBI data is consistent with historical blanks for older funds registered before stricter data requirements.
Anand Lunia
Founding Partner, IndiaQuotient
Anand wakes up every morning with one thought: 'Let's make India great again.' He loves writing on startups, studying market opportunities, and helping entrepreneurs. Before IndiaQuotient, he bet his farm (literally) on an angel investment in Rebel Foods, one of the largest cloud kitchens in the world. Earlier, he was a partner at Seedfund, known for its exits in Carwale and Redbus. He co-founded an edtech company which he exited in 2005. His Twitter handle says it all: 'Entrepreneur is the king. Not the VC.' He feels that leading the simple, Indian middle-class life is an investor's superpower.
Madhukar Sinha
