The fund employs a private equity-style approach to micro-cap Indian listed companies, targeting significant ownership stakes of 5–10% in each investee company, with a highly concentrated portfolio of a maximum of 12 investments. Niveza aims to acquire meaningful ownership to act as a proactive, engaged shareholder — bringing governance improvements, strategic direction, and new ideas to support long-term performance. Throughout his career, Sanal has been instrumental in raising funds, financial structuring via capital markets, devising business strategies, active investing, and advising management teams across large multi-faceted global enterprises. His wide global and international experience across India, Asia, Europe, the United States, and Africa has given him a multi-disciplinary domain understanding of various businesses and industries. His core investment foundation is built around in-depth research and analytics on the micros and macros based on empirical data and behavioral analysis. Over the years, Sanal has worked with executive management teams to build and enhance value in the areas of strategy, sales, marketing, corporate finance, human resources, and M&A. Sanal holds a postgraduate degree in Finance from the University of Mumbai. He loves reading and is into interconnected holistic fitness that spans physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Aman Nanda
Co-founder and Managing Partner
As co-founder and managing partner of Niveza Investments, Aman has helped build the firm from inception into a growing investment platform with investors spanning multiple geographies. He is responsible for the firm's strategic direction, investor relationships, and capital allocation process. Since 2019, Aman has also headed Imagyne Capital, where he has gained experience across private wealth advisory, investment structuring, and fund management. Over the course of his career, he has worked with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutions across public and private markets, real estate, and alternative investments. Aman completed his Bsc at Babson College, concentrating in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management. He is also currently an active member of Singularity University's A360 program and has been a speaker at the India Global Forum reflecting his interest in the intersection of capital, technology, public policy, and long-term societal progress. Outside of investing, Aman is an avid reader who enjoys exploring different cultures through travel and cuisine, and is passionate about lifelong learning and experiences that foster growth of the mind, body, and spirit.
