Profitgate Capital

18 years. Two firms. One edge — disciplined, research-driven capital allocation in Indian equities. I co-founded ProfitGate Group (Partners LLP est. 2013 + Capital Services LLP est. 2021) to build an institutional-grade investment platform out of Nagpur — combining proprietary equity investing, portfolio management, and wealth advisory under one roof. What I do: Run a long-only, bottom-up equity portfolio with high-conviction bets — 4–7% allocation per stock, 3 to 36+ month holding periods. Proprietary trading in Indian equities and derivatives with a systematic, quantitative screening overlay. Wealth management and ECM advisory for family offices and HNIs. Before ProfitGate: Investment Banking at ENAM Securities and Axis Capital, Mumbai — two of India's premier capital markets franchises. Sell-side and buy-side experience shaped a full-cycle market perspective. Philosophy: Money is made in bottom-up stock picking. Risk always emerges top-down. I use a Quant Matrix → Fundamental Screener → Qualitative deep-dive process. Growth + capital efficiency + clean balance sheets are non-negotiable filters. Education: MBA (Finance), JBIMS Mumbai — Class of 2008. With over 23 years in the financial trenches—ranging from the institutional rigor of Kotak and HDFC to the entrepreneurial agility of ProfitGate—I've learned that wealth management is as much about discipline as it is about data. As a SEBI-registered Portfolio Manager, my approach is built on a simple conviction: consistent outcomes are the product of robust, process-driven frameworks, not market noise. I bridge the gap between academic rigor (MBA, Delhi University) and hands-on execution, focusing on delivering sustainable growth and treasury solutions that stand the test of time. At ProfitGate, I lead strategy, client engagement and operations with a clear mission —to drive innovation and scalability while maintaining a culture of excellence. I am passionate about long-term value creation and helping families and institutions navigate the complexities of the Indian equity landscape with clarity and confidence.
