Overview

About

SB Growth Fund (SEBI Reg. IN/AIF2/23-24/1383) is a Category II AIF managed by Shimmer Investment Private Limited, established by a prominent business family with a longstanding legacy in India's steel industry — the Goel family (mentors: Anand Goel and Pranav Goel), whose affiliation with Goel TMT (a Raipur-based steel manufacturer) is reflected in the SEBI contact email domain. The fund has launched two schemes: (1) SB Opportunities Fund I — target corpus ₹200 crore, launched November 2023, close-ended with a 15+2 year tenure, focused on growth-stage companies with scalable models and long-term value creation potential; (2) SB Opportunities Fund II — target corpus ₹200 crore, launched April 2025, close-ended with a 10+2 year tenure, targeting differentiated opportunities in high-growth businesses benefiting from emerging structural trends. Both schemes are sector-agnostic and invest in growth-phase companies through rigorous due diligence and a disciplined risk framework. Trustee for both schemes is Mitcon Credentia LLP. The fund is based at 808A, C Wing, One BKC, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai 400051.
