Cat III · Managed by Shatrunjaya Investment Advisors
Complex or leveraged strategies — long-short, hedge-fund-style and quant funds. Often open-ended, within SEBI leverage limits.
Primary Opportunity Equity Fund AIF is a SEBI-registered Category III Alternative Investment Fund managed by Shatrunjaya Investment Advisors LLP, a Mumbai-based investment manager with a limited public footprint. As a Category III AIF, the fund is expected to deploy strategies involving listed equities, structured market positions, and potentially long-short or arbitrage opportunities aimed at generating absolute returns. The fund appears to operate as a closely held investment platform, likely catering to a select group of investors such as high-net-worth individuals. With no institutional website or detailed disclosures available, the manager seems to follow a low-visibility approach typical of smaller or recently established hedge fund-style AIFs. Its location in Mumbai provides access to India’s capital markets ecosystem, supporting execution across public market strategies.
