Cat III · Managed by Thakkar Investments
Complex or leveraged strategies — long-short, hedge-fund-style and quant funds. Often open-ended, within SEBI leverage limits.
Thakkar Investment Trust is a SEBI-registered Category III Alternative Investment Fund with limited public visibility. Based on regulatory information, the fund appears to operate as a closely held investment vehicle, likely focused on public market strategies such as equities and derivatives. Category III AIFs typically employ diverse strategies including long-short, arbitrage, and other market-linked approaches to generate returns. However, there is no verifiable public domain information about this fund’s specific strategy, portfolio, or institutional setup. The absence of a website, formal disclosures, or institutional branding suggests that the fund operates as a boutique or privately managed structure catering to a limited set of investors.
