Kapil Singhal
Managing Partner, Private Credit

Kapil joined True North in 2021. He is responsible for establishing a best-in-class Credit platform for investing in private credit for True North. He has 25 years of investing experience in Credit in a variety of roles encompassing origination, structuring, trading and fund management. Prior to joining True North, he was the Head of India Credit at KKR. In his recent roles, he also co-headed the Edelweiss Special Opportunities Fund and ran the India trading desk at Goldman Sachs. In the early part of his career, he was also associated with ICICI Bank as VP, Corporate Credit, with GE Capital as the Regional Head and with Deutsche Bank as Director, Credit Trading. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from IIT Delhi and an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi. In his free time, Kapil enjoys singing and playing guitar and is a wildlife enthusiast.
Rikhil Wadhwa

Rikhil joined True North as Managing Director, Private Credit in 2024. With over 20 years of experience in Financial Services, he brings a wealth of expertise in Credit, Corporate Finance, and Equity Capital Markets. Prior to True North, Rikhil worked with Investec Private Credit as a Senior Director for 7 years. His career also includes leadership roles at Edelweiss Investment Bank, Centrum Capital, Syntel Inc, and Bharti Airtel. He holds a Bachelors in Commerce degree from Mumbai University and an MBA from Wellingkar Institute of Management. Beyond work, Rikhil likes to spend time with his family and enjoys reading, travelling and exploring spirituality.
Sushim Desai
Managing Director - Chief Risk Officer, Private Credit

Sushim joined True North in 2021. He is responsible for Risk Management in the Private Credit platform. Sushim has 21 years of experience across private equity, syndications, credit ratings, diverse debt, and M&A transactions. He has built an exceptional track record of actively managing credit & structural risk in special investment themes. Prior to joining True North, he was the Senior General Manager, Group M & A at Mahindra & Mahindra. He has also worked in leadership roles in a mix of international and local organizations at InCred Capital, Clix Capital, GE Capital, CRISIL in India, US and Hong Kong. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai and has also completed a post graduate program in business administration with a specialization in Finance from Institute of Education, Pune. Sushim is a keen hiker and enjoys music in his free time.

Kshitij Agrawal
Vice President, Private Credit

Kshitij brings over 9 years of experience in private credit and investment banking to his role at True North. Prior to this, he spent over 6 years at SBI Funds Management in the Private Credit function where he evaluated transactions across sectors such as consumer durables, healthcare, hospitality and media while also being involved in the entire transaction cycle. In the initial 3.5 years of his career, Kshitij worked at J.P. Morgan, specialising in M&A transactions with the firm's North America, Oil & Gas and Investment Banking team. He holds a CFA Charter from the CFA Institute, USA and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Kshitij has completed his Bachelors in Technology from NIT Bhopal. Beyond work, Kshitij is an avid reader, a yoga enthusiast, and a passionate numismatist.
Siddhant Salian
Assistant Vice President, Capital Partnerships Group, Private Credit

Siddhant joined True North in 2025 as an Assistant Vice President, Capital Partnerships Group, Private Credit. He brings over seven years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on fundraising and advisory. Most recently, Siddhant worked at Modulus Alternatives, managing relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and distribution partners. Earlier, he was part of the institutional sales team at Motilal Oswal Asset Management in Mumbai and also worked in wealth management. Siddhant holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) from NMIMS (CDOE) and a Bachelor's degree in Management Studies (Finance) from Mumbai University. In his free time, Siddhant enjoys Indian classical music, travelling, practicing yoga, and volunteering for various initiatives.
Manan Jain
Analyst, Private Credit

Manan joined True North in 2025 as an Analyst with the Private Credit team, after completing an internship with the firm. During his time at True North, Manan has gained close to a year of hands-on experience, working directly across multiple deals. He is a recently qualified Chartered Accountant (May 2025) and has secured an All India Rank in his CA Intermediate examination. Prior to this, he spent over 1.5 years with KPMG in the Statutory Audit division as part of his articleship training. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai (2023). Outside of work, Manan enjoys playing sports, spending time with friends, watching movies, and exploring business content.
Ojas Acharya
Director, Private Credit

Ojas Acharya has joined True North in 2021 as Senior Associate, Private Credit. He has over eight years of experience across private credit, financial due diligence and investment banking. Prior to joining True North, he was part of the investment team of private credit platform of Piramal Group for over four years and has evaluated numerous transactions spanning across a variety of situations and sectors. He has been involved across deal life cycle comprising deal sourcing, underwriting, asset management and exits. Earlier, he has also worked with the Big Fours such as PwC and E&Y. Ojas holds a Bachelors in Commerce degree, is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and has also completed an MBA from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. In his spare time, he likes reading, running marathons and travelling.
Sumeet Khanna
Assistant Vice President, Private Credit

Sumeet joined True North as an Analyst in 2023. He will be responsible for evaluating potential investments in the Private Credit space. Prior to joining True North, Sumeet was associated with KPMG, wherein he specialised in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. Earlier, he was a part of the Investment Team at ASK Pravi Capital Advisors, contributing in deal assessment across multiple sectors and holistic portfolio management. Sumeet is an MBA from Indian School of Business and completed his Bachelors in Accounting and Finance in 2015. He is a sports enthusiast and loves playing football in his free time.
