YSL Alternates (also known as YSL Alternates Alpha Plus Fund, SEBI Reg. IN/AIF3/20-21/0818) is a Category III Alternative Investment Fund sponsored and managed by YES Securities (India) Limited (YSIL), a wholly owned subsidiary of YES Bank Limited. YSIL (CIN: U74992MH2013PLC240971) is registered at 2nd Floor, North Side, YES BANK House, Off Western Express Highway, Santacruz East, Mumbai – 400055. The fund employs a market-neutral derivative strategy, targeting risk-adjusted returns uncorrelated with broader equity market direction. The fund is one of two in-house AIFs managed by YES Securities — the other being Yes Wealth Maximiser (a multi-asset long-only CAT III AIF). YSIL contributes 5% of the total corpus (or up to INR 10 crore, whichever is lower) as capital commitment in each fund, aligning manager and investor interests. The fund is subject to a minimum investor commitment of INR 1 crore per SEBI regulations for Category III AIFs, and units are held in investors' demat accounts with monthly NAV updates. Returns are reported on a post-tax basis as taxes are paid at the fund level.

YSL Alternates Alpha Plus Fund follows a market-neutral derivatives strategy, designed to generate returns independent of equity market directional movements. YES Securities' investment approach for its AIF products emphasises rigorous screening and selection of investment options, strategic multi-asset allocation for optimal risk-reward, and regular portfolio review aligned with wealth maximisation objectives. The fund is evaluated on a yearly performance basis given its market-neutral orientation.
